School Improvement Works
We have been in discussion with the local
authority regarding some signiFcant
maintenance and improvement work
throughout the school. Most of this work
will be taking place in the summer holiday,
however, the contractors are going to start
some work prior to the holiday. The local
authority is funding work to replace parts of
the roof to the front (older) part of the
school, replacing the tiled roof in current
Key Stage 1 building, replacing old windows
in Key Stage 1 and resurfacing the front car
park.
From Thursday 6th June 2024 the front car
park will be out of use as there will be a
welfare o.ce taking up the portion between
the Phoenix Room and the disabled bays.
The disabled bays will still be available for
blue badge holders. Pedestrian access via
the designated pathways will still be
maintained. There is likely to be signiFcant
movement of equipment over the next
couple of weeks around the school. We are

this is outside peak tra.c times as much as
possible.
Please be aware that as the front car park
will be out of use for the majority of the half
term most staO will be parking in the rear car
park. This obviously reduces the capacity in
the rear car park. There may also be
scaOolding, skips and storage in the rear car
park further reducing capacity. If you, can
